Psychotherapy:
I provide therapy for children, teens and adults, as an individual, family or couple. In the first few sessions we will attend to your reasons for pursuing
therapy, in addition to addressing personal history, which may be
relevant.
Common issues that are addressed in my work with clients are:
- anxiety
- body image issues
- communication
- depression
- life transitions
- relationship difficulties
- self actualization
- sexuality
- spirituality
Therapy sessions are typically 50 minutes in length and are confidential in nature. My approach involves an
interactive process of discussing your past and current experiences, which
will allow understanding about how to best reach your personal and
relationship goals. Some clients find that a 75-minute session is
preferable as it allows more time to get to the depth of the current issue
following a weekly check-in.
I encourage you to call for an initial phone consultation to see if you
would like to make an appointment to meet in person. I offer a
20-minute introductory phone conversation at no cost. If we determine we
are not a fit in working together, I will gladly assist you in finding
services elsewhere by offering guidance and referrals if needed.
Consultation for schools, agencies and independent professionals:I provide consultation on various issues and
topics, such as warning signs of violence, self-harm/self-injury,
self-esteem, relationships, stress, depression, bullying/harassment, dating, dating violence
and cyber communication. Additionally, I offer spontaneous crisis
assessments or conflict resolutions as a direct intervention on an as
needed basis.
